I need to pick up some RAM. Is there any good pc shop near union square east? or downtown?

There's also a CompUSSR on Market & O'Farrell, and a few Staples stores spread around downtown.

Notebook DDR2 RAM but not paying like 50$ at a BB...

If you're going to be in the south or east bay, go to one of the frys electronics stores. They probably have some decent prices. I don't know of too many real retailers left that have decent prices.

Hmm seems a bit far out of my way.
Ill check a computer store like BB or CompUSA and see what they are costing..

Fortunately COMPUSA is closed! Try a staples or the Best Buy under the freeway nr. Mission St.

(FYI, Comp USA had to have been the worst run store I've ever been to in my life. I wouldn't buy dollar bills there if they were selling them for a nickel.)
