I won't be surprised if it happens.

I see AA predicts no impact on its operations, but if there's a walkout, what might happen? I'm guessing the worst would be limited or no food/beverage service on flights, but I don't know.

I enjoy airport eateries and hope this won’t affect their supply. I love napa farms.

The companies are Sky Chefs and Gate Gourmet, so I doubt very much this would affect airport restaurants directly. Sill, a strike could make the restaurants very busy if the planes will go off with reduced or no food service.

My conundrum is as follows:

One the one hand, I'm flying AM next week and there may not be food.
On the other hand, I'm flying AM next week and there may not be food.

More info here: https://www.airportstrikealert.org/
I'm not sure how/why, but it appears to be limited to DL, AA, and UA. I would think other airlines (AS at SEA for example) would also be impacted. And other Bay Area airports (OAK and SJC) are also not listed, yet I'd think the same catering companies also serve those airports.

The main page states that also other airlines are to be affected, but likely use the big three as they carry more passengers on average.

They're most likely targeting and focusing on hub airports for the major airlines as that would lead to a larger disruption of service.
Over 20,000 airline catering workers serving American, United, Delta and other carriers across the US are standing up to say that one job should be enough.

from past AM TRs, I think you’re torn about which complaint you can use - no food, or the scary chance that there will be catered food!

safe journey!!
