"BEWARE" --- City of San Jose Parking "RIPOFF"
When you travel to San Jose, CA .... be aware of their new "Smart Parking Meters" that "RESET" when you pullout from your parking spot. If you pay for 2 Hours and only use 30 Minutes.... your Parking Meter will reset to "0" and the next Driver will not benefit from the extra time left on your meter. Also, City of San Jose has been having continued "problems" with "Smart Meters" resetting themselves when large vehicles drive by ..... guess what???

Do you have any more up to date information on whether this problem is still occuring? |
It appears that a report on the 6pm news that evening, nearly 2 years ago, says they turned off the function that caused the problem.
