SF things to do
Wife and I have two days in SF and would like suggestions on some
"off the tourist radar" locations in the city [or nearby -public transit accessible] to visit. Thanks for the help. |
Do you have any dates in mind for your SF visit?
Off the top of my head, if... on a Thursday night you can do Nightlife at the Academy of Sciences. Basically adults night at the science museum with food and beer/cocktails. on a Friday night you can try Off The Grid at Fort Mason which is a bunch of food trucks in a plaza. on Saturday and Sundays the 76x bus runs from SF to the Marin Headlands. Live bus arrival data here, as transit in SF can be hit or miss. you have access to a car (I realize that you say public transit, but maybe keep in mind for another time in SF) you can go down Vermont St which is crookeder than Lombard, and devoid of tourists. |
Thanks. Arrival 10/6 for seven nights.

Without knowing your interests it's hard to make suggestions
