I originally read the terms and conditions wrong. The offer may expire as late as September, 2009. Seems to still be up, although I am surprised the 250,000 coupons haven't been filled yet.

To PaulMSN: if you keep applying for more, I suggest contacting the diabetes association :D

I just ordered another 8 today for two households. I believe it is 250,000 each Friday. So it resets each week. Anyone know how much candy bars cost at walmart, is it well under 85 cents?

IAHtraveler Jun 5, 2009 9:35 am

For those of you with high candy bar prices: Our Wal-Mart has candy for about 70 cents. While the grocery stores are higher than the limit, they regularly have 2/$1 sales on thier candy bars, but not requiring you to buy two. So you might not be able to get them today or tomorrow, but keep the coupons with you until you see a sale.

As for the coupons in the mail: I got the ones to my house. However, the ones to my work & my wife's work never appeared. The work mail (wo)men must be enjoying some candy on our behalf.

hawaii-bound Jun 5, 2009 12:46 pm

Thank you. Coupons still available today.

PaulMSN Jun 5, 2009 1:26 pm

Four more done. This is actually more typeworthy than playing Club Live/Bing, in terms of value per keystroke. $3.40 for a few minutes of typing.

To OzzyOzzie: I am at risk for it, but the insane amount of Ultimate Frisbee and dancing I do seems to be keeping it at bay. Anyway, if I don't buy any other candy (yeah, right) it's only four bars a week.

MrHalliday Jun 5, 2009 3:08 pm

I just grabbed a Snicker's while Randall's shopping.

Cost 99c, so had to pay the difference,
but for such healthy food, spare no expense.

Used mine at Walgreen's also since it is on my way home from work. First clerk just rang it up as? as the cost was just 2 cents (tax only). The second trip I had to the difference and tax: 6 cents :p

Wal Mart too much of PITA to get to so avoiding that even though it may save me 4 cents per bar :o

Now, where can I use it on a buy one, get one free to get a twofer one and a reduced price

This week's local Rite Aid circular has a Buy One Get Second One Free on all single serve candy bars*

* of equal or lesser value plus applicable sales tax. Items offered at regular retail. Regular Retail 88 cents each. Selection may vary by store.

I'm going to try this tomorrow.

For those without a Rite Aid nearby, CVS has a buy $15 of certain candy (including Mars), get $5 in extra bucks. Has anyone gotten $15 worth of coupons in one household yet?

UPDATE: I had 3 coupons, so I picked up 6 packs of M&Ms for a total of 30 cents, including tax.

CMK10 Jun 9, 2009 2:47 pm

I got mine in the mail yesterday...now the only question is which tasty candy bar should I choose?

loomis Jun 12, 2009 7:10 am

My next door neighbor should be receiving 4 herself. Hopefully she will share the spoils. Wait till she hears she is now married and has 2 kids :D

BTW, just have gotten 2 so far, that was from the 2nd week they were offered.

I received four coupons at one time, probably from the first Friday, but if so, the next Friday's batch is a few days overdue. Maybe they'll be in my box when I get home.

Huge ^ to you loomis

Has anyone received more than 4 coupons to date? I received 4 three weeks ago, but no more since then? I have been filling out the forms every Friday and do get the confirmation emails.

Check your spam folder

OzzyOzzie Jun 19, 2009 1:37 pm

I've only received two, and that was from week 2. Got confirmations I would have more coming for week 3, but nada.

I am getting all the confirmation emails, just not getting any more actual coupons. It's been 2-3 weeks since I got the first batch of four. I am beginning to suspect it is a limit of 4 per household.

cmjaffe Jun 19, 2009 2:00 pm

think it's 4 per address.
Luckily for us we've got 2 different last names here (on one we put apt # even though it's private ressie) and also we do 2 different addresses (mail's forwarded for aunt).
We've gotten about 6 coupons so far for 2 different addresses, we'll see what comes in the next week or so.

I have only gotten the four also.

The site gives a "technical difficulties" message at the moment. I should have done it this morning -- may miss a set of coupons that I'm not actually getting.

rwsatl Jun 19, 2009 3:04 pm

My sweet tooth thanks you OP.

Cornroaster Jun 19, 2009 3:52 pm

Still available today.

uavking Jun 19, 2009 3:58 pm

Site's up and just banged out another four. I've gotten two weeks' worth of coupons so far, including a batch in the mail today.

OzzyOzzie Jun 24, 2009 8:25 pm

Put my neighbor's in for four - received them Tuesday. Meanwhile I only got 3 of 4 at my place (scatted over a few weeks) and just 1 at work (probably a security guard taking them as the mail is brought directly there :o )

I am now convinced you can only get 4 per household . I have been filling out the form for several weeks for several people. All of us only got the 4 and no more.

T&C: Limit Four Per Household

A quick read of the T&C's usually can clear up any confusion:

Limit: one (1) Coupon per email address per Friday and four (4) Coupons per household during the Offer Period.

Is offer period each Friday or the many weeks the promotion is running?

Once again, I refer to the T&C:

Offer valid from 9:00:00 AM ET to 11:59:59 PM ET on the Friday only of each week beginning 5/8/09 and ending 9/25/09 ("Offer Period").

Well I am not going to waste anymore time filling out those forms every Friday then... I am sure many others are doing it every Friday expecting 4 new coupons each week.

Putting aside for the moment the reading of the T&C...did you really believe that Mars would have a promotion that could provide almost 100 candy bars per household over a five month period? Multiplied by how many households participating in the promotion?

I posted the rules way back when, that is why I am sending coupons to neighbor's. If they share the wealth with me, fine. If they keep all 4, then they don't get put in for any more freebies :o

OzzyOzzie Jul 3, 2009 2:15 pm

Still seems to be up and running!

I have 10 coupons on hand, may be getting 4 - 8 more, depending on my split to people I have ordered them for. Trying to find folks that don't like chocolate so they give me all four :D

The site just worked a few minutes ago. This should be my fourth free candy bar during the prize period, so I guess I am done.

PS - The first two coupons arrived and we no issue redeeming. Had to pay something like 6 cents for the sales tax.:td: But, 6 cents for a Snickers is not bad:D

No chocolate hating friends  Already used next door neighbor's address and she gave me all 4, used another that gave me 2 of 4, have another 4 coming from another friend as they don't at candy. Used another neighbor that I will probably get 4 from. Good thing I have 10 e-mail addresses I can use :D Running out of people I trust to give me some of the coupons

BTW, Walgreen's has 49 cents coupons for Mars candy bars. Just 1 cent (sales tax). Strange thing is they are 69 cents without the coupon, yet usually sell for 89 cents (which would bring it to 6 cents with tax). Anyway now I am just using the coupons I have without the store coupon and pay 2 cents per bar, although I had a clerk ring up 2 at once (with 2 free coupons of course) so it was only 3 cents total (compared to 4 cents for 2 individual). The clerk couldn't ring up 3 for some reason.
