I guess it's time to eat there now that they have grilled chicken.

You might change your mind after trying it....

I found it extremely dry and tasteless.

Don't waste your time clicking on link...when you get there it just says "no coupon is necessary"...just show up at the store to get free piece.

A similar but separate promotion was a coupon in the newspaper this
weekend for a free piece of grilled chicken, no purchase necessary, good till May 17, 2009.

The chicken was OK - I asked if I could pay up to get a breast (answer = "no"), so I got a wing instead.

Hit 6 places today.
Only legs and thighs. Got 4 thighs and 2 legs.
Great tasting, but not as good as the original recipe.

But I will buy it again sometime.

Thanks for the feedback. I missed it today. Will try soon.

There was also a coupon for a free piece in the Sunday newspaper USA Weekend supplement. It expires on May 17. IMHO, managers who decide the free piece should be a wing, shouldn't be managers.

I think hitting 6 KFCs in one day for a piece of chicken is also a bit much.

Ugh, I waited 15 minutes yesterday for a free piece of this and couldn't even tell this was grilled chicken because it was so grease-laden. Not good at all. KFC might as well stick to fried chicken, 'cuz this is bad.

Red face Interesting....

Thanks for going anyway. I have a 17year old in Drivers Ed from 445-645pm and far from my home, I have to find something to do in the vicinity. I didn't know so I didn't go although I probably would have just to have something to do. Now I know to avoid because of you guys!

PS RE: the 6 hit bargain diner. I couldn't afford the gas to do that much less the time! Hope you enjoyed it though.

I got a breast and I hate white meat!

They seasoned the skin some but I'd rather eat at El Pollo Loco, which by the way is giving away 2 pieced of chicken today. I suppose it's a good alternative if you're with someone who wants to go to KFC and you don't have the will power to be assertive.

Quite fitting that someone named "hen" would hit 6 places for free chicken

And this sounds like what we used to do in college on the first day of Spring. we'd hit every Rita's within 20 minutes of us (I think there were 5 or 6), and some twice for our free icee. Granted, gas was cheap (under $1.50) and we'd get 5 or 6 of us in my SUV, so our rate of return was quite high!
