E-rewards technology panel, is it dead?
Howdy folks. I used to be a member of the e-rewards technology panel, and got lots and lots of survey as a result. However, in the last six months I've gotten only 2 surveys, neither of which was tech. If I recall correctly, it was like my account dropped off the face of the earth in June or so. Is the technology panel dead? Is e-rewards dead? Anyone know anything? It was good while it lasted .... tls

I'm still receiving 3-5 surveys of various length per week - I'm on some preferred panel now instead of the technology one.

I think E-Rewards has dropped off the face of the earth.
Neither my wife nor I have received a single survey in about 6 to 9 months. |
Being a preferred panel member, I still receive e-Rewards survey invites (sort of) regularly.
However, the frequency and volume of the survey do drop during the past 12 months. I believe the incentives has shrinked as well. As far as the technology panel goes, I would assume there won't be as many sponsors. The economy is really hitting e-Rewards sponsors hard, especially in technology.

Neither my wife nor I have received a single survey in about 6 to 9 months. I haven't been able to take any single survey since September 2007. Just read my posts in the Opinion Place thread. I know for a fact there are FTers that are very happy with them and have been able to do survey every 2-3 weeks. Just not me :(. Would I announce Opinion Place dead? To me, they are (literally). But not to others. I stop attempting to qualify for survey opportunities long ago. Opinion Place obviously doesn't welcome my participation. Meanwhile I have been able to earn hundreds of e-Reward dollars (& still counting). My profile works for e-Rewards and I am not complaining for the HHonors I can redeem for. All I can say is if you are not getting survey, you just don't fit their target population. Just like I don't fit Opinion Place no more. |
Same as OP
I am supposedly on the preferred panel but have had NO surveys since July 2008. I have $$s still in my account and once I redeem those for HH points that will be it for me.
It does seem strange they expanded their redemption options then dried up the surveys. Still it was nice while it lasted. |

Neither my wife nor I have received a single survey in about 6 to 9 months. As for the actual topic of this thread, the Technology Panel, I don't know. Why not send an e-mail to e-rewards and ask them? (I know -- too simple and obvious.) |

Three today. About 10 this week.
Routinely update my profile and that seems to spark some activity. |
Mine have dried up too :(

I can go weeks without a survey, but sometimes I get a lot. I never know when I will get them. It's the same for Emiles and Opinion Place too.
|
Joined them in 2000. Nice steady flow of surveys until July 2008 then - dropped like a hot potato. I guess they are done with me. I am left with $10.17 sitting in my account since July . In the meantime, I have offers from 3 different airlines to join e-rewards. HA

No change for me either. I've been a members since, oh, maybe 2001?!? And on the tech panel for at least a couple of years, and this is never happened. Guess it's my turn. Too bad. tls

same here
I agree tls. I am supposedly on the preferred panel and eaned over $500 early 2008. I have not had a survey since June 2008 and my emails to them go unanswered. After my upcoming HH reward, I'll have $18 and that will be it.
I guess they figure I got my rewards and I dont disagree. I have not changed my profile for years as it is still accurate. |
