I would bet you have to pay your own expenses to / from NYC.

will likely have some time coming up in b/n jobs, so signed up. Will see what happens...

Yeah, one interesting trip report.

Sounds like the makings of a t.v. reality show.

Would be intriguing if a few FTers that all knew each other (or would get to) were there at the same time.

Someone call A&E - they'll do it...

I could spare a week around the holidays, but otherwise nope.

If you're a true FT'er, you'd do it for 25k miles.

Miles?

How do you know which airline/alliance they will put you on?

If there are a lot of people, it may be a charter (aka no miles).

So we're now getting miles for donating blood

I had a hard enough time getting a flu shot for free... let alone a needle sucking my blood...

This does sound tempting... especially if they paid for a positing flight from ANC , but probably will pass- too many variables and needles :shudder:

I try to avoid being a test monkey... but current circumstances may allow for this experiment.

My current job sux, I've never been to France and lets face it I'm bored!

I have registered and sent them an e-mail asking for more info but haven't heard back yet.... If someone does get picked for this please do share the details.

thanks,

The flyer states, "This is not a vacation." @:-)

Hell, $2500 for a week of my time after finals sound like decent pay to me. ^^^

I called and told them I was interested in the study. I got a call back the next day and was given a screening test. I didn't qualify for the study due to allergies. I have food and drug allergies. They didn't say which disqualified me.

The woman that gave me the screening test didn't seem to have much information. She was simply filling out a form. For instance, I asked what I would be doing all day in the study center and the response was "oh, they have things for you to do".

Maybe they only go into details with people that qualify.
