I think this offer is bogus.

I got my e-mail today and printed out the coupon - it is a full page and looks like a diploma. - valid for one week. Unfortunately it says at the bottom "Valid only at participating McDonald's in the Austin metropolitan area." (I live in Denver.) But the print is very small and I might just try to pass it off ;)

Ok.. has anyone who's trying so hard to get this free item from McD's actually eaten one of the things?

Here's the 'nutritional' information (if you can call that nutrition)

420 Calories, 40% of your daily Saturated fat intake, 43% of daily sodium... YUCK

And come on.. it's a greasy sausage patty thrown between two syrup flavored pancakes. :(

I was actually waiting to get my coupon so I could report back to the thread if the coupon is restricted to the zip you used. Thanks for Kurt's update now we all know the answer.

I guess I was competing with all the new "relocated" FTer "neighbors" in 78705. Due to the popular demand, McD's probably is preparing more than expected amount of free sausage McGriddle in the heart of Texas this week. :p

What e-mail address did it come from? Or what was the title?

I want to search my SPAM folder which is HUGE, but the normal searches don't find it still....

Thanks for pointing that out, I never did receive mine but it's likely it got caught up in the daily spam purge.

Sorry - I didn't save the e-mail. But it did say "McDonald's" in the title, I think.

I redeemed my coupon today - I was nervous but they took it with no hassles (drive-thru). And I even got the Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddle (not the "regular" version I ordered) - 560 calories and 62% DV of saturated fat - whoo hoo!

Mine also arrived a few hours ago. It is valid for the "Greater North Texas metropolotan area" or Dallas/Fort Worth. I noticed a link in the email to "Send to a Friend". I tried it with Mr.Bogo's email. It does not send the Coupon to the friend. It sends a humorous invitation to join the club.

I got mines! Although Mc D's is out of my way in the mornings I will be giving it to the Mr since he passes I don't know maybe 100 on his way out to Montana. Although I might photo copy this baby and use it for myself on a day off. ;)

:confused: O.K. I got the email. Said I could only print the coupon 1 time. It had something that looked like a diploma heading, but nothing stating what it was for, no actual coupon.
