Free Black and Tan Pouring Aid From Bass Ale
They call it The Brolly and it lays over the glass so you can pour a 'proper' Black and Tan! It's free on Bass Ale website http://www.bass.com/
Offer expires 4/30/08
But offer is only good in AL, AR, CT, HI, MA, ME, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NY, RI, SD, UT, VA, WV and something about an 'exception' for CA residents.
I must have found it in the Minneapolis paper last time through because I live in NE/IA so I'm stuck with using the back of the spoon again!

The California exception is you have to order it by mail, and pay $1.00. My sister is a B&T fan & doesn't live in a state listed, so I might order it & give it to her as a Xmas stocking stuffer. Cheers.

Other states allow alcoholic beverage companies to require a purchase for giveaways. Those states require that such things be freely available. I'd assume that this is part of trying to comply with those laws.

Got mine in the mail last week.
Comes with a little leaflet on how to use it.
Or, if needed, the link in the OP has the "instruction video."--useful, as it reminds that the stout should ideally be a nitrogenated one, for a better black/tan separation...altho' I'm thinking that black & tan's were around LONG before Guiness started nitrogenating it's products...
This thingy is now $15.00US on the Bass website.
