Welcome to FT, bluemondayz! I hope you enjoy your stay here. :)

I, too, receive a substantial number of surveys, and am a non-rich student (quite the opposite end from a rich businessman). As I said earlier in the thread, any conclusions about statistical demographics (or whether the company is racist/elitist ) drawn from a mere handful of examples will be entirely spurious and statistically meaningless.

Doubtful, try updating your profile. Every time I go a few weeks without any offers I do this and usually get surveys.

I first joined e-Rewards back in 2001. I used to get TONS of surveys. I was cashing out between $300 and $400 per year. That died a couple of yrs ago.

This is what it looks like these days:

Glad it works for you. But that strategy would only work if your profile happened to fit the target group for the surveys. Statistically speaking, correlations don't equate to causation. @:-)

You may update your profile 10 or 20 times a day. However, if the profile fails to suit the purpose of any surveys available, it will trigger nothing in return. Just my 2cents. :)

It would seem to me that the larger the base of customers, the fewer surveys each customer would get.....unless the number of surveys and/or sponsors is increasing at the same rate as the customer base....which is almost impossible.

Most sponsors want a total of X surveys with X number coming from demographic group A, B, C, whatever.

The sponsor list has not changed that dramatically since day one - but I bet the membership list has increased 10 fold. AND once a company has YOUR responses, chances are you are "weeded out" of further surveys.

AND - for those of you who think e-rewards is elitist - my demographics would match up with ummm, "elitist" to a certain degree - and they won't even take me as a member! I have requested an INVITE twice within the last month via an invitation that was sent to me...and was turned down each time. (great idea - ask people to join and then decline them :D - what's up with that??????)

Mr. Sophie IS a member - and gets perhaps 6 surveys per month.

well, recently I got a survey, on the initial screen it said "welcome, bla bla, press Next to start the survey" and the next screen was "we are very sorry, but you don't fit the reqired profile". I did not see one question.
So I belive they invite and then reject you.

Same thing happened to me the other day. I suspect they had already had enough responses and in effect terminated the survey.

Or, of course, it may have been a glitch . . .

Carter29072 Mar 1, 2008 10:31 am

I joined about one month ago and I have gotten maybe two surveys.

rflorek Mar 1, 2008 12:52 pm

I get about 5 surveys a month, but I've also been accepted into a couple of long-term studies that pay $5 per week.

Hmm...never got an offer for a long term study since I joined a year ago.

Same for me. I used to set a reminder for every 90 days to redeem for "$50" in Hilton points and still had to find other things to burn the excess on at the end of the year to avoid them expiring. In the last year, I've had maybe 1-2 surveys per month from them. I've managed to get up to $40. The demographics they want seem to have changed.

Bump for those who want to chitchat how often they receive e-Rewards survey. :)

i've been lucky enough to get about $25 in the past two weeks... the issue is i have nowhere to spend my $120 at. I wanted to use it for AA miles, but they only have NWA and HH.:(

jwudbwei Aug 15, 2008 4:54 pm

I got nothing since sometime in July. Same happened to othr family accounts. We used to get a couple per day.

I'm also unhappy that AA is gone although I am using it to keep my HH card active as I just flew IT in India and put that on NWA.

I've had long dry spells but in the past 2 weeks I've gotten 4-5 surveys though only earned $13 from them.

I joined on october $4 and have been getting 2-3 surveys per week. Since yesterday I've that Pinocchio icon. Although all my answers have been truthful and most of the time related to what I like to drink-eat-buy or if I like or dislike a series of ads. What's the Pinocchio icon deal?

You mean right above where the surveys typically appear? I have the same, and it seems to me to just be a reminder to be honest, and nothing necessarily saying that we've been dishonest.

Airon Nov 9, 2008 10:39 pm

Will the icon affect how often you get surveys?

This sometimes happens to me, especially if I'm overseas. I think it reads your IP/geographic location and then makes its judgment call from that.

Airon Nov 13, 2008 10:51 pm

I've had a survey on my opportunities page for two weeks but I've not been able to access to it. All I get is:

The link to this research project has been temporarily disabled while the survey host makes revisions and/or changes to the survey content. We do not have a definitive time when the survey will be available. We apologize for any inconvenience and as always, thank you for your participation.

You may have new earning opportunities available on your Member home page. If you are not automatically redirected to your home page in 10 seconds, please click here.

The link appeared the same day the Pinocchio icon appeared. Is there a link between the Pinocchio icon and lack of surveys? (besides the answer I got the other day, thanks for that btw!)

If there's not a link between the two, do anyone has the same "Study about Business Technology" Disabled survey?
