As a former member, I can't say that this program helped me any, nor can I recommend it. The only benefit that was offered at the time of my enrollment (no SSSS guaranteed) had been done away with a few months later, so I got a refund.

I did the Hyatt free year thing. I didn't think I'd use it much, as SJC isn't all that busy when I fly. But on 6/13 it was packed. I asked if my Clear card was enough to get me and kids through. Turns out that kids under 12 can go though with the cardholder! Must have passed 400 people in the TSA line.

Too bad none of our referral codes isn't better than the $40.00 discount FlyClear is giving to existing customers to try and soften the DOUBLING of their yearly fee. I like how they say it is because of their popularity, ummm...if you were doing well you'd drop your pricing, not double it. I am considering dropping my Clear and just use my airline status to get me through.

I'm guessing that these codes don't work when you renew. My clear membership expires in May and while you get the discount until mid december to renew early I'm on the fence for renewing it. It's worked well in Denver, although the last few times that I had a flight and went through security the line was not long at all. However, on those few days I did go through and the line was really long it was nice.

Worked well in Orlando as well for a long line.
