Yet another conga - Jellyfish
 

Looking around, Jellyfish offered the best cash back for an upcoming purchase I am planning. Surprisingly there is not a conga going for it already. They offer the referrer 1/2 of their profit for the first year (without cutting into the referee's cash back amount). I made a purchase yesterday afternoon and within hours, the cashback had been posted to my account, with the normal 60-day pending for redemption. It seems Jellyfish works much faster than ebates and Fatwallet. Good job!^

I agree with you. Their list of stores may not be as extensive as FW or ebates, but the cashback is indeed higher, even better than Mr. Rebates (another conga).

Plus, Microsoft just acquired Jellyfish very recently, so they won't go under soon. :p

Some examples:
- Barnes & Noble: JF: 5%; ebates: 4%; FW: tiered; Mr.Rebates:4%
- Home Depot: JF: 5%; ebates: 4%; FW: none; Mr. Rebates: 4%
- Ritz Camera: JF:10%; ebates: 3%; FW: 4%; Mr. Rebates: 5%
- Staples: JF: 3%; ebates: 2%; FW: none; Mr. Rebates:2%

With all the holiday shopping coming, it will be easy to hit the $10 threadhold to request the cashback. @:-)

Thanks to the tip from edlin303, I just figure out how to get a direct referral link. For future reference, new signups don't generate the unique referral link until you create your own user names.

Steps to set up user names and get the unique referral links:

1. visit the Smack Shopping/Watch the Show section, then the site will prompt you to pick a user name.
2. create your own user names.
3. go to the my info tab at the top.
4. click on my referrals on the left of the screen, your unique referral link will be under refer a friend details link.

OK. Class dismissed. :D

Don't know why the direct referral link didn't work. Maybe some glitches in their system? :confused:

Hiatus of Jellyfish Refer-A-Friend, starting 1/4/08
 

Was checking my cash back today and saw this announcement:


"Beginning January 4, 2008, Jellyfish will no longer accept new referrals under the Refer A Friend Program. We will continue to honor your existing valid referrals made prior to that date. Thanks for your support!"

It would have been nice if they sent an email about this. I don't think it's overloaded with FTer referrals though. ;)
