I got one from ING for $25 credit to open a $200 account. Your deal is nicer.

Code doesn't work

That code doesn't work for me. Did it appear in the New York Times, and as part of the regular paper or a flyer with it? I wonder if it appeared as personalized serial numbers.

Edit: There is a difference between the first and second link. On the first one, the code given there works but the first screen still says it expires 9/30, so I worry that I'll miss out on the bonus if I go through there.

The offer was in an insert ad in the NYTimes. The link & code were copied from the new ad insert. I only tried the new link but didn't use it or try the new code.as i'm not eligible (already hae an ING account)

The web page and/or ad doesn't give any indication of any kind of targeting beyond reading the NYTimes.

Perhaps a phone call to ING w/ the code # is your best bet.

sorry for the inconvenience

Thanks. I called and they have friendly phone agents. I said that the code a friend had given me wasn't working. This agent said it was enough that I told her the code started NYT222. It took time with several holds; when I gave my SSN I was flagged as a NetBank customer but that was not a problem for now. I started the process on the phone, was directed to complete it online, then called back and supposedly the $50 bonus was arranged.
