I'm happy for everyone that's getting their card. I called yesterday to be told that they have no record of my test drive that I mailed in. I was given a fax number to fax my copy to and someone's name. I'll be lucky if I get anything.

Major Attitude in Queens, NY

I have done similar certificates with other certificates at other places in Manhattan. Usually, the salesperson/managers are pleasant and ask me if I really want the test drive or just the signature. I respond saying the latter would be preferable. Everyone is courteous. And I check out the cars while they are filling in the information because who knows? One day, I might want to buy a new car.

This time, I went to the Mazda dealer on Northern Boulevard in Queens where the Finance Manager was incredibly rude. He signed it and I will send it in but, from now on, I will stick to the city.

Funny because you would expect the exact opposite.

Is this offer available again? would love to pass it on to someone who did not catch it last time!

when I went to our local dealer, the saleman asked if I did not mind not test driving as it was the biggest sale day of the week- I had made it clear we were not in any position to buy- I dont blame him- I didnt want to take money out of his pocket

I didn't realize that I never came back to this sight to give an update on this matter. I recieved my card about 1 month after my previous post.

Ditto. Not many days do I find someone in a NYC retail situation that are so bad that I seriously ponder taking the time to write a letter, but Mazda should know better than to have the Woodside, Queens location (begrudgingly) participate in this.

When I brought the (Circuit City E-gift card) certificate in, I was told only one person in the whole place could sign them. When I asked the guy to sign it, he said he would but it would "be a while." Um, can you define a while, I asked?

There's also no customer parking there...

I had already tried two other locations in different regions. (When given the option, I generally like patronizing non-NYC businesses because of experiences like wiggily's.) Redwood City, CA said they weren't participating (no way to tell this from the Mazda site, I think), and Henrietta, NY said the dealer card had to match what was printed on the certificate.
