AA Admirals Club (Terminal A) at DFW has had a basket of this sitting on the counter free for the taking recently also.
I always keep Airborne with me, easy way to take vitamins :p Jeff |
I've always wanted to see if this works as well as the Echinacea/Goldenseal caps that I take when I feel a cold coming on. I fly weekly and used to get 4 or 5 colds a year. The fact that I haven't had a cold since I started taking the E/G is a good enough placebo effect for me.
Thanks, OP! |
Thanks! Always wondered about this stuff, just didn't want to spend the $ to check it out.
|
Thanks!!
|
Cool!
I actually just bought the night/evening version... |
Cool.. I'm going to try one.. been wondering about this stuff as well.
This looks like similar to what I was used to have many many years ago, Roche (now Bayer) Calcium D Redoxon (CDR). It consists of Vitamin-C and other stuff, and dissolves in water as well just like Airborne. That stuff is pretty common in some countries in South East Asia, but you can't find them here in US. |
Give it a try. Thanks!
|
Too bad I did not see this thread a few hours ago - just purchased some. I guess I can use some more for free though :)
|
Every Admirals Club I have been in lately has them. Also, drugstore.com which is in the AA online shopping double mile promo has them with $2.50 off each.
Whether or not they work it's still a good way to get some extra vitamins. I think the green one's taste like Fresca! |
Thanks
What the Heck, Placebo or no
Thanks for the link^ |

I'd just like to remind everyone that every real clinical study that has tested this has shown it doesn't work. Even the clinical study advertised by the company won't be shown to everyday consumers. Any benefits are truly just virtues of the placebo effect.
4. Is there scientific evidence to support that Airborne really works? Airborne has always been committed to researching and developing the highest quality, most efficacious products to meet consumers' needs. To help accomplish this, we established a Medical Advisory Board, comprised of leading experts in the fields of microbiology/immunology and integrative medicine, to advise the company on all scientific matters and to create a strong foundation of support for our immune-boosting formula. Each ingredient in the Airborne formula has been repeatedly documented in published studies to contribute to a strong, healthy immune system. Additionally, we conducted a study in 2003 that showed Airborne had a marked effect on reducing the duration of symptoms. Our Medical Advisory Board members are currently formulating a study that in addition to the studies in the literature, will further support Airborne's immune boosting properties. |

Also, why would someone want a medical product invented by a teacher?? Wouldn't you want something created by a PhD/MD? It works for him Placebo or not. |
everyone's got their own opinions... my mom uses it and loves the stuff...
differing opinions on a product are always there... OP: thanks for the link... tried it out |
Mine came today. Thanks!
