Free Teleconferencing

http://freeconferencing.liveoffice.com/

This site allows you to sign up for free Teleconferencing service, even offers you the ability to record it to MP3 for free.

Handy for frequent travelers who often miss meetings because of being on the road.

It has nothing to do with Points or Miles, and I'm not padding my post count, I just came across this deal and wanted to share it with other business folks who may be able to use it.

I don't care who you are Free is always Good..

not bad, but you don't dial into a 1-800 number...so users have to pay long distance.

True but with most cell phone plans now, most travelers have free long distance I think..

This is their free service, they start charging for their toll free service. I can live with the free service.

I've used several of these free conference calling websites before. Generally they work well, but when multiple parties are all talking via cell phones, the quality seems to go down a bit and there is a lot of delay between when you talk and when they hear you, sort of like international calling from cellphone to cellphone.

If you really needed this, I'd probably pay for the toll-free solution so that people could try to use landlines.

I have used freeconference.com and...

it has worked fine with several users dialed in on either/both cell and/or landlines.

And, the many people with VOIP don't have LD charges either. :)
We use Packet8. Unlimited US and Canadian calling for 19.95, plus free use all of those features the local telco would charge for.
