Free USB Flash Drive

Get a Free USB Flash Drive loaded with information about purchasing Microsoft Windows Licensing. This offer valid only in the US, while supplies last. All you need to do is fill out a short form with your address and answer 4 simple "Windows Licensing" questions.

http://www.microsoft.com/mysterysolved/corp

Click on the image of the USB drive "Valuable Information - Get Yours".

N.B. I don't know the size of the drive or whether it's writable.

So how much of the memory will be used up with this "valuable information"? (I think the answer they have in mind for the 1st q is, "buy it.") tls

Unless they have a way to "lock" in the info, I'd imagine you could just delete it.

Thanks OP (and Matt for answer #1).

Did anyone else get one of the 32MB thumb drives that IBM gave away last year with a white paper on it? The file took up ~7MB IIRC and I couldn't figure out how to reformat the drive afresh. It wasn't a simple matter as it would be for a normal memory stick: this seemed to involve having to short out the drive and then reformatting it. Total pain. Nice thing about the freebie was that it came with a 2-1/2' USB cable, which is super handy in itself.

FYI, its read only memory. This was discussed on another forum I'm on. You can't delete the documents off.
