Incidentally, with the almost perpetual free offers for the "men's magazines featuring scantily-clothed women" genre (e.g. Maxim, Stuff, Details, etc.), one wonders why anybody actually bothers to pay for a subscription.

How long does it take to get the freebie? I filled out the long form for the New York Observer when this thread started but I have yet to receive an issue of the newspaper. I wonder about the integrity of some of these offers.

It does take a long while to get any of these magazines it seems. I haven't received any either. I know of others who have received magazines from these offers. I will post when I receive my first one.
