Free Miles for Texans

Just moved to Austin and heard this one the radio Randall's is giving Texans free miles for signing up for their grocery miles program.

In Austin, you can get 2,000 AAdvantage or OnePass miles:

In Houston, you can get 5,000 OnePass miles for online enrollment:

Randalls and Tom Thumb have been doing this for quite a while. It is similar to Safeway's program (as both are owned by Safeway).

This is News

The program has been active for a while but there are some new features:
  • You receive miles in increments of 125 for every $250 in purchases. Previously, someone who spent $400 in 6 months got nothing, because a minimum of $500 was required to get any miles.
  • There is a bonus for enrollment.

This is great for a friend of mine who never bothered to enroll because she didn't spend enough @ Randalls. Now, she can get an enrollment bonus plus maybe 250 more.
