Erewards AA Bonus
 

I was hoping someone could tell me if one gets the erewards AA bonus if the flight purchased is bought by my company's travel agency. Do they have any idea of who booked the flight or just that it was a paid flight on my AAdvantage number? Thanks!

I dont think it matters who paid for the ticket. The important criteria is that it MUST be booked on AA.com

just a related question: how long does it usually take for the miles to post from e-reward?

On other threads, some people said their miles posted automatically a few weeks after the flight that qualified, some had to email erewards and ask them for the miles. I fall in the latter category. I waited six weeks and emailed three times and finally on the third try, I got a response asking me to email them with proof. I copied the page showing my AAdvantage activity for the month from aa.com and they were happy with that. It still took another 2 weeks to get the miles.

My reward has always posted about 3 weeks after my flight. I've had no problems whatsoever. And in regards to the OP question, as was previously stated, the only thing that matters is that it was purchased via aa.com. It doesn't matter who purchased it.

What do you have to do in order to get the reward?
