FREE copy of Visual Basic.Net Standard

Microsoft is already in the process of releasing 101 short movies in order to help teach everyone vb.net. If you're willing to watch, and then simply rate just five of these brief presentations, you will be able to obtain a FREE copy of Visual Basic.Net Standard edition.

Truly if you aren't interested in these movies, you won't get very much use out of 'em or this great new software. FWIW, it is also NFR, that is a "Not-For-Resale" copy, so if you are not interested in programming, you might skip over this freebie and leave 'em for those who will use it.

It does make a pretty nice gift for developer types, however! Enjoy! :)

Thanks for the find! Even though I'm not very strong at VB this package might come in handy, I just hope I'm creative enough to review these movies :)

FWIW, these clips can seemingly be viewed simultaneously - just in case you are pressed for time! ;)

They do contain some VERY useful tips however. :)

And I have to admit that I love FREE SOFTWARE! :D

Hope this proves helpful to some! :)

FWIW, another potentially useful tip, if you are really, really pressed for time, is that you actually need not even view all the movies. You only need to rate them!

I actually already had seen 'em! ;)

And the message:

"Thank You

Thank you for completing the Microsoft® "VB @ the Movies" Web profile. Your redemption code email will be sent within 24 hours. "

appears immediately, followed quickly by the redemption email.

Happy developing! :)

Even if you don't have a need for VB, the installation includes the Visual Studio .NET IDE, which gives you the product formally known as Visual InterDev, plus great XML and XSLT editors.

Great find, doc!

Please note that this offer is good only while supplies last, or until September 30th 2004.

So do not delay if interested!

Many folks have already received the FREE software! :)

Enjoy!

Wow! That was VERY fast! The moral of the story is "do not delay!"
