Two Free Airline Tickets - Scam?

Hi all

Could those wiser and smarter than myself please check the following website offer out and advise me what the catch is (there has gotta be one for sure). Failing that is the offer a scam? It seems too good to be true.

cheers Peter

These are not uncommon - they often get given out as promotions. Note in the FAQ

"There may also be a minimum stay required and the travel agency will book your hotel accommodations. The stay will be no longer than 5-7 days and you are not required to stay the amount of days you booked."

They tend to charge about $300 a night for accommodations - and require you to do this (you don't have to stay, but you do have to pay).

I've always considered them not a scam, but misleading at best.

These are usually legit. Where they "get" you is the high cost of a required hotel stay. Also limited dates. These type are always for sale on Ebay too. Stay clear.

Even though there are no blackout dates, there may never be any availability, either.

i get letters, calls, etc frequently on these things. you might save a small amount, but count on spending a lot of time trying to get what ever they are flogging.
