Amtrak offer back on MyPoints
 

Not sure if it's a very new promo, but here goes anyway:

MyPoints Travel section of Earn Points has 2K bonus for Amtrak purchases over $30.00. While nothing to jump at just for the points, if anyone booking a train trip anyway, why not get some bonus points in the process?

A caution here:

The promo clearly says "once". This could well be considered by AMTRAK/Mypoints as an "extension"
(or resurrection if you will) of the previous promo; if you got anything last time, I wouldn't advise
buying new tickets just for the sake of the points.

I was burned once by a similar airline promo after spending a bit more for a qualifying fare.

I just purchased the Amtrak ticket online via mypoints and my total was $66.00 and I did not get the message saying congratulations...2000 points..

Wondering why? I have bought some tickets in the past from Amtrak via mypoints.

May be that's why...

Are their Any current promos for intra-Florida that anyone knows about.
