Thanks for the Gift Certificate. That was easy....

I can't get it to work...it just comes back to the screen and the card number is gone...rest of info is still there.

The link now directs you to a screen that says:
"MasterCard will be posting information about the Amazon offer after June 17.
Please return after that date."

So....will we have to re-register then or what?

Check and see if there is an error message near the top of the registration info. The same thing happened to me when I tried to use an email address registered along with another MasterCard. Evidently their database tracks unique email addresses.

I successfully registered my MC the evening of 6/10, and got a message that my Amazon discount would be e-mailed to me shortly. So far I have received no such e-mail. Something tells me I'm not going to get it.

Because I've registered for this promotion on 6/10/2003 and still haven't received my coupon code, I have emailed Mastercard inquiring about this. Just received a response from them. Here's their response:

Thank you for your inquiry to MasterCard International.

Because the number of responses was far greater than expected there may
be
a delay in receiving the certificate.

bigeyes1: Thanks for that info. I tried numerous times this morning and tonight to e-mail them. Used the "contact us" link, but gave up because it always seemed the message got "stuck" when sending. Glad to see you at least got an answer.

I registered the other day when this came up. My registration was successful, but I have never received any email about the certificate http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif We'll see...

It now says:

Please return after that date."

Probably out of money or cards...

Did anyone ever get a $15 certificate?

I wrote and was told there would be a delay. The site now seems to say that the certificate will come from Amazon, then has to be mailed into Mastercard?

In a recent purchase from Amazon there was a large postcard sized advertisement for this deal. I went on the 25th and registered and to receive the $15 gift certificate you have to mail in the postcard sized advertisement (I think they call it your special offer postcard) and a 3X5 card with your info.
I think this will only work if you make a purchase from amazon and receive one of these postcards in your packing slip though I might be wrong.
