E-Rewards to Hilton changes

I e-mailed E-rewards to confirm what I had read on another board about being able to now redeem for Hilton points every 90 days the response is below. Downside of course is that the reward is not as generous but the upside is you can claim it 4 times per year. This gives you the opportunity to use them sooner and cuts down the odds of E-rewards going down and losing your $$$$'s, as so many other sites have done. I just cashed in $50 and it pretty much posted in my Hilton Account instantly.

We are pleased to announce that e-Rewards members may now redeem rewards from Hilton once every 90 days rather than only once per calendar year as in the past, giving members more ways to turn e-Rewards into HHonors points. Since members may now redeem multiple rewards per year, Hilton HHonors rewards above the $50 level are no longer available. For example, instead of claiming a single $75 Hilton HHonors reward, you may select a $50 reward now and claim a $25 reward only 90 days later. We hope this change will enable e-Rewards members to be able to enjoy their rewards more frequently.

We hope you will have the opportunity to use your e-Rewards to redeem a program reward soon.

Did anyone ever claim the $250/25,000 points reward? I got to $190 and then the emails and surveys dried up.

I'm the lucky one who got to redeem $250 for 25,000 Hilton points.
To get there I had to go through $75 20-pages -long paper survey and to contact them for different non-posted surveys 6 or 7 times. I finally made it March 31st only because they suddenly improved (created ?) customer service in March.
Overall, 3000 points every 3 monts is better than pie in the sky: I'd never reach $250 again.

How did you get on the list for paper surveys and how do you get non-posted surveys?

It has been more than 90 days since I redeemed $250 for 25000 HH points. I tried to redeem $50 today but was given the standard message that I have redeem already for this year! Nothing I could find mentions the revision to one every 90 days instead of once a year.

That is the information they sent to me via e-mail. I will try and find the e-mail and post it.
