Amtrak Update--This is too much
I just called home to check my messages. There was a message from Amtrak. It turns out that the ticket I purchased for myself (and my wife) is for a day when Union Pacific is repairing the rails in NC. The date of my "trip" was to be March 27th. So, my ticket from Durham to Cary is unable to used. They offered me a refund or reschedule.
When I get home, I'll be asked for the refund. It looks like I'm getting 2450 points(for both of us)for free.
