Just booked an Amtrak ticket through Mypoints.com, however, I didn't get the confirmation Pop-up window from Mypoints.com. Will I receive the 2450 mypoints?

Thank you.

MADFORMILES, Great find!!! I also got the BKY-OKJ $2.55 senior fare; try several dates if necessary. I did get the pop-up window confirming the 2,450 MyPoints to post overnight. I figure $.001 per point; thanks again.

I can beat that: how about $.60???

Using the Rail Sale train above, find this rate on:

High Point to Greensboro

Raleigh to Cary

Cary to Durham

I'm not sure where to input the H304 code for a Rail Sale booking--- is the H304 code necessary for the bonus??

Paradocs, since you used the rail sale, I assume you couldn't use the H304 promo code?

Whoops! I booked the BKY-OAK, but I accidentally made it a round trip.

$5.10, but not too bad for 2450 points, as that is almost enough for a $25 Applebees certificate.

Thanks!!

Did you get the mypoint popup window confirming points when you booked the rail sale rather than using the H304 code to book trip? I did not book the rail sail because I was not sure if it would qualify for the 2,450 points.

I tried to book one of the 60 cent fares and got:

"We are sorry, reservations under $1.00 can not be booked online"

I just booked Durham to Greensboro through the Rail Sale link after connecting through MyPoints. Total came to $1.20 and I got the confirmation pop-up screen for 2450 MyPoints.

Would this also work for a Mypoints member based in Sweden? Will they send tickets or do you just pick them up at the station?

If so I might "forget" to pick them up

I selected the option of picking up at the station on day of departure.

kempis,

You should be able to purchase a ticket on the Amtrak site. The system is set up to accept foreign addresses. Just check the box to pick up at the station.

Burlington - Raleigh is $1.10. Ahh, the lengths we go to to save a dime.
