Same thing happened last year. As soon as holiday shopping started the servers became incredibly slow.

I was able to shop this weekend at normal speed. I wonder if everyone doesn't do their shopping at work http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif.

Grrr. Missed it. Only 5 points now.

It would be nice to have gotten 1000 points. I can't even get to the site now ;-(

I'll take the 5 points I just received from deals and steals, but the 1000 sure would have been nice! It seemed like it took a week for the site to download again tonight. Something's going on!

I clicked on max in books and media but got a pop-up window saying I already got the 5 points for today. Yet I haven't since he hasn't been around. Anyone have an idea why I am getting a message like this instead of the normal congrats message.

Note: Yesterday when i clicked on him he said the same thing and didn't give me points either.

I got the same, and I know that I only clicked once. Maybe they forgot to reset something. Max is rapidly becoming not worth the time.

Nope, definitely only one click. I had to wait a long time for the popup, too. Disappointing to get no points.

Still in Books and Media and I got my 5 points. The site is quicker right now. Yesterday it took me hours to get through my emails.
