Are mypoints crediting?

I have gone on a couple of days where points are not crediting. Is this happening to anyone else?

bigeyes1 May 31, 2002 12:32 am

And here I was thinking it was just my imagination that I wasn't being credited. Yep. It's happening to me, too.
I wonder what's up with MyPoints??

Same thing here.

Maybe they're stalling until the new levels kick in!

I was rather frustrated with this yesterday/last night. I was 20 points away from another award I was going to grab. They probably have some cheesy out for it though, such as points are not required to be posted that quickly or something. But yes, points for emails that normally post the next day did not post for me. So far, though, the points needed for awards have not changed yet.

It has been this way for several months. Sometimes they post the next day. And then there will be a gap of several days followed by a large posting.

Same here. Its been a few days now and all I need is 7 lowsy points to post before I can cash out on the award I want!

That's exactly what I think they're doing. Which means that anyone who is that close, but waiting for their BonusMail points to credit, has a legitimate beef. All BonusMails have the following statement:

"You won't see an automatic confirmation for clicking on the above link. The xx Points for reading this message will show up in your account overnight."

At any rate, if June 1 comes and people haven't gotten their points, all the while they've raised their redemption levels - I'd be raising all kinds of stink with MyPoints as well as the Better Business Bureau.

Well, I was a bit distracted for the last couple hours, but I was just at the MyPoints site, some more points came in even since earlier today (5 showed up sometime earlier today and 15 more between then and now), and I was able to fire off an award order at the old point levels even though it is now 0:10 on June 1 here in Eastern Daylight Time. We'll see what happens. All my recent spend orders are still "pending", in fact, so I don't know what that will mean at all.

What d'ya know; 50 points dating back to the beginning of the week now posted on June 1. Wonder if that has anything to do with the new redemption situation.....

They'll have some stupid excuse about errors if they're confronted with it. I personally was fortunate that I wasn't trying to get a last minute award - but I still had no points credit all week until last night, when forty credited that should have gone throughout the week.

This is yet another in a long series of sleazy business practices that MyPoints has engaged in that is turning me off more and more to them.

Mike
