You earn points in much the same way as MyPoints and can redeem for United Miles or Cathay gift vouchers (or lots of other non-travel rewards). There are points for referals so am happy to start a conga etc. Email me at [email protected] for a referal.

I would be interested in the conga line but can someone from the US sign up and I don't see a way to get anything from UA.

When you sign up (on the HongKong site) the list of countries includes "Other Countries" which is what I used. It defaults you as a customer of the Hong Kong rewards site.
