Blockbuster is tied into a site (with pizza hut & radio shack) that awards points with purchases and for emails. The points may be used for gas, groceries and air miles. If you register your FF account #'s it says
"You may receive Smart Offers® which allow you to get extra miles". I just found out about this last night when I went to Blockbuster. I have not had time to really inspect the ins and outs of it, just registered to get the points awarded to me for the video purchase. They show up on the receipt when you check out.

I have not put in any FF info because there are no FF-related awards or redemptions.

I have won their monthly contest for 500 freebie points based on the entries I earned for rentals at Blockbuster. 500 points gets me a free Blockbusters Favorites rental -- yippe.

Maybe this will expand and be of benefit in the future, then. I guess I should have explored it first before posting. Sorry. I just saw the basics and the mention of airmiles, etc. Thanks for your opinion on this. I won't worry about this site for now.
