Problems with AOL Opinion Place

I am wondering if anyone has had similar problems with AOL Opinion Place.

About a month ago my husband did a survey. The same day I did one on a different product. Near the end they dropped me and would not let me finish. I didn't give any weird or inconsistent answers.

Then last week my husband completed a survey. I went in to do one (again on a different product) and on the very last page they would not allow me to choose "exit" to get points. I couldn't do anything but finally shut down the browser.

So, I completed 2 surbeys and gave them about an hour of my time for no miles. Of course, at Opinion Place there is no where to go for Cust. Service. Seems unfair to me!

Any similar experiences? I just don't want to waste the time in the future.

I had the exit problem too after a 300-mile survey

I've been having problems with Opinion Place, too. I have tried to do a survey three times with no results. Each time it would not let me pass a certain point. I've emailed Customer Service to hopefully get the miles credited to my account, anyway.

We'll see.

I have also had several problems when I get to the end of the survey, including the one for 300 miles that would not respond to my clicking the EXIT. I did receive those miles without having to write anyone (about 3 or 4 days till they posted). The other time I did email and eventually got the miles. The email for them is: [email protected]

Also, I have taken to printing the page prior to the survey that indicates the date, number of miles to be given and the subject of the survey. This way there is no disputing what I should receive. I found major discrepancies between the miles that I should have received and what I got when taking these surveys over on Clickrewards. I have not run into this via the AOLAA site.

I've never had a problem with miles posting from Opinion Place to AAdvantage. The web site did seem slow last week, however. This could have just been internet traffic?

I have had the same thing happen to me in the past, they will give you the miles, but they are going to ask you several questions. If you have the information for them when you initially send the email, then you will get the miles a lot faster.
They will want to know the following....
1. You Advantage Number
2. The day you did the survey
3. What the survey was about (Example:Beer or magazine covers)
4. How many miles were offered to you.

Email the above information to [email protected].

You shouldnt have any problems getting them to credit you with the miles.
Good Luck http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Thanks everyone! This was exactly the sort of info I need. I will try contacting the CS address you gave. As usual, you all are terrific! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
