e-rewards

How long after joining do the emails start arriving? Of course it will depend on the number of subjects selected when signing up, but appx.........?

Very sporadic. I didn't receive any for 6 weeks, then toward the end of 2000 it picked up. Now receive 1-2 per week. Not worth the trouble.

I saw a post recently about free newspaper/magazine subscriptions with e-rewards. Perhaps this was a 'targeted marketing offer'....

Anyone else with experience on e-rewards? Good or bad?

I wish I was getting 1-2 per week. Its been more like one per month and I checked every interest box.

I have been receiving e-rewards e-mail quite infrequently (maybe one per month). However, I recently got 2 big offers. One was the newspaper/magazine subscription and the other was $50 in e-rewards for rating luxury hotel chains.

I have been getting about 2 email a month. But I'm giving up on them; the sales tactics are annoying. My last email offer was for coffee and a coffee maker; only on the last page of several web pages of information/registration re the offer was this another variation on the book/cd/whatever-of the month club. If you took their offer, you were locked into buying x amount of coffee every month (and nowhere did it say how much THAT would cost). The e-rewards link on Egghead.com looks better if you're going to buy something from them anyway for $250+ But all in all, it seems hardly worth the trouble and vigilance re the email stuff....

Like UpInTheAir, I am quite happy with my last two e-rewards e-mails. Can't complain about a free magazine/newspaper subscription or a $50 credit for rating some hotel chains http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
