Which online reward program is the best?

Hi,
I have joined many on-line reward programs. I am just wondering which one is worth spending time on?

Input is appreciated!

A couple of months ago I would have easily said AllAdvantage was certainly the best, I was getting a $50 check from them every month. Now they are pretty much useless, unless you need contest entries as they have cut their pay amounts so low.

I now find it's easier to do some of the one shot deals for big bucks or some of the pay to do survey sites, not the ones that enter you in a drawing for thirty eight cents, but there are some that pay $20 or so for a survey every two or three months. (I think I have some of them linked over at

http:\\www.cordelli.com/getrich.html

or another good source is where I joined most of the ones that pay me is
http://www.money4surveys.addr.com/

The other way to make some money is to open bank accounts online. Gomez.com lists banks that will pay you to open an account, in April USA BancShares paid you $100 for opening an account with $100 and leaving it in for three months. They now have many paying $50 listed, and some paying $75. You can only open accounts through them twice in a 12 month period, but it's still a 50 or 100 percent return on your cash. Be careful, some of the banks they have listed have minimum balance requirements and monthly fees, if you go below the minimum, make sure you consider that when calculating the reward. I have gotten checks from them, and recommend them.

Want an easy $60 online? Become a compubank affiliate, and then once you get approved and have the link use it to open your own account. You will get $40 for referring yourself, and they are currently offering another $20 to the person opening the account (also you). $100 minimum balance to open, after that no minimum or monthly fee. Anybody at home with a social security number can also open an account, you get $40 for each of them, and they get $20, one set of bonuses per social.

The adbars, and the rest just take way too long to get enough to get enough for them to pay you unless you have a zillion referrals, I don't bother with them much anymore.

I use wwww.greenpoints.com and www.mypoints.com. People have differing experiences with them, but my experiences have been positive. I have been able to accumulate substantial rewards with little to no spending.
Also, Echo is a new site that is very easy to earn reward points. Just listen to your favorite music all night all day long (if possible). Points for referral's listening hours also. I am currently earning enough points for $160 dollars worth of gift certs each month. If you are interested, consider using my referral link..thanks http://www.echo.com/index_invitation.jsp?ref=108871

I use MyPoints and have earned over 34,000 points (I cashed in 20,000 for 25K AA miles with no problems); Greenpoints (earned over 100,000 points with them and horrible customer service - avoid them like the plague!!!!); and Clickrewards (8000+ points in less than 4 months with incredible customer service).

Also, I signed up for the ECHO program using the referrer above. If someone wants to earn free rewards or webmiles, please use me as the next in the line: http://www.echo.com/index_invitation.jsp?ref=109260

I hope this helps someone else!!

lasertag,
Sorry to hear about your bad experiences with greenpoints, I have found their customer service to be quite good, and think their earning opportunities for shopping and now a number of "check it out" type dals are second to none. I have earned about 75,000 greenpoints so far.

Right now, my favorite is freeride.com. It takes a little bit of effort, but if you're online a lot, and don't mind running the Magic Bus in the background, you can make about $75 a month off of them without buying anything.

Milesource.com has really improved their click-for-points scale in recent weeks, and as long as I can get 80 points a day from freeairmiles.com, I figure it's worth it.

I had a similar question, although a bit more specific. I used to use alladvantage, but now that they have reduced the pay so much - it is just not worth it. Spedia will not work on my computer at home (not sure why, it works fine at work), so I am looking for something where I can earn points/money while doing other things. I have tried freeride, but cannot figure out how to get points without actively using it (so I cannot earn while surfing, playing, or doing e-mail). So UI have 2 questions - those of you with experience with freeride, how do you make it work for you? Second, any other programs out there like alladvantage and spedia (i.e. ad bar active while surfing) that you would recommend?

I like Jotter. http://referral.jotter.com/join/mmackin

Not to many people really know about it but I've been using it quite a bit. They only pay out $50.00 dollar checks, and you can only earn [email protected]/hr = $7.50 a month, but you can also have referrals that earn you money. The nicest thing about it. You don't have to be surfing the web, just be online. You could be working in Word, or some other program, and as long as your mouse or keyboard is moving your earning money. Plus the banner has a lot of extra features that make it very enjoyable. You can even custom the way the banner looks with different skins.

Check it out. Please you me as a referal if you like it. http://referral.jotter.com/join/mmackin

I like http://www.milesmall.com/

The miles turn up in my account within a few weeks of purchase - I don't have to redeem points for miles or wait until I have enough points - it's a straight 2 miles for every $ spent. Their website is easy to use and their customer service good to great.

One draw back is that they are primarily linked to Alaska Airlines (which partners with lots of other airlines), Hawaiian Airlines, Marriott, and Blockbuster.

Re: Freeride

What you're probably wanting is the Freeride Magic Bus. After you've logged in, look left and click on "Magic Bus'. Then click on a banner ad of your choice. There are two ways you can get points on the Bus.

1. For every 10 minutes you are on the Bus, you get 5 points ($0.05) up to 100 minutes ($0.50) a day. All you've got to do is have a Freeride MB window and an ad window open. You can surf, write e-mail, whatever while that runs in the background. (so you don't have to really be active on the site for these points)

2. Hitchhikers: For the first five minutes you have a given ad window open, you will get small pop-windows known as Hitchikers. You can totally ignore them if you want and still get points for time if you want. However, they do add up if you want to pay enough attention to click on them, and open new ads every few minutes. A little more effort, but may be worth it.
