750 Easy Greenpoints

On the "Point and Click" opportunities is to download "Gator" and get 750 greenpoints. I did it, and got points. Took less than 5 minutes, and I can uninstall Gator anytime I want to.

How do you uninstall Gator? I could not delete the application from Windows Explorer.

To uninstall:
Go to START menu
Click FIND
Type in GATOR
When the files are found, a GATOR UNINSTALL file will appear. Double click it and follow the steps to uninstall--it will be gone!

Or you can use the Control Panel's Add/Remove Program option.

Click Start, Settings, then Control Panel.
Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
Select Gator from the list in the window.
Click the Add/Remove button.
Away you go!

Be careful with Gator program. It has a major bugs that causes Internet Explorer to lock up... and you have to reboot and loose whatever you are working.

I have sent them the bug... but they have been unable to fix....

Easy as eatin' apple pie! I installed Gator in just minutes, refreshed the S&H page to verify that the points had been posted, then used Mikey's method to uninstall. Net result: Four minute affair with Gator = 750 commitment-free points. (Kinda reminds me of a girl I met one night in Hoboken )

I like that about Greenpoints - seeing your points post immediately sure encourages me to go through their portals ! Plus, Greenpoints member care is fast and efficient (unlike MyPoints - sheesh, don't get me started ...).

I agree - I have had no probloems with Greenpoints. Other than changing point values for the mileage certs, they have been very good.

The program itself is a mess.. load it, uninstall it, and be grateful it's that easy! It causes windows explorer function to crash or lock up..

I agree - I did not like Gator, so I ununstalled it. But it was worth the 750 greenpoints to try it!
