And PDEs for everything so far! Just following The Bouncer’s recommendation and doing only the clues this time, no fishing.

Back in the days, when I started playing the TCB games, I used hunt for the random birds, a few times I hit about 500 chances. All in all, did not get anything, aside from the minor cash prizes, as time went on, I stopped hunting for the random birds, and just do the daily clues. Good luck.

...aaaaand here we go again! Just done the daily clues so far, plus a random bird on IHG. Got a backpack, two calculators and a a science flask so far. Not been tempted to go fishing yet!

That’s indubitably the way to play it. That’s the way I’m doing it from now and imagine the time I am going to save. I could have written a violin concerto in the time I have wasted going fishing. Oh by the way, I got a pocket calculator from Harveys.
