Conga: Tesla Purchase

Not sure where to post this - this is my best guess. I'm thinking of buying a Tesla and wondered if an existing owner wanted to post a referral code, then after I get mine I could post a referral code for the next person, etc. I'd order soon but not get delivery until late June (due to travel schedule)

Since some of us are (or will be) driving or renting Teslas - and there is a referral link now (which changes) for 1000 mile charging credit (I think) - so an owner can give a purchaser a code then both will receive some charging credit.

https://www.tesla.com/support/referral-program

Also any opinions about the car (I'm thinking of getting base model 3 as I don't do a lot of driving) would be good to share.

The teslamotorsclub.com forums are very active for many many opinions and questions about the car.

Personally, I'd want the AWD and long range battery but those add almost $20k to the car price. :)

Consider your home charging approach first. Tesla is apparently not including the NEMA 14-50 adapter anymore, so if you planned on installing that outlet you'll need to make sure you buy the adapter separately from them ($35 when it's in stock). They are trying to get people to either plug in to a standard 120V outlet or buy the Wall Connector.

Yes, but driving as little as I do I wouldn't get the wall charger - I'd use 120 or a supercharger (one 5 minutes from my house) since the electricity cost is similar -but very high since I live in Calif.
Thanks for the link - I've read a lot and looked at youtube reviews but this is another source
