You get La Quinta Return points for playing a slot machine-like game every day until Jan. 31.

Additional points can be gotten by occasionally answering a few trivia questions and sharing via twitter.

The points can be redeemed for free hotel nights at any of their hotels nationwide. There's also a possibility of winning hotel nights outright.

You need to have both a Facebook account to identify yourself and a La Quinta Return account to accrue the points into.

You get an additional 30,000 tokens per 'friend' you invite to play (1,000 tokens per spin).

If you don't want the points for a hotel stay, it looks like you can swap 6K of them for 1K miles in select frequent flyer programs. (Though I'm wondering what the deal is with LQ's United exchange link)
