Office max 10 off two $50 mastercard giftcards

I just confirmed at Office Max - $89.90 for 2 $50 mc gift cards. I tried to purchase 6 at once but the system would not let it go through, I prob could have tried separate transactions but the manager had to come over twice and I figure Ill try again tomorrow for more.

Use ink for added bonus!

I actually went there today and got some (did 2 per transaction). You are really saving $20 dollars instead of the printed $10 dollars off..so Instead of being $110 or so, total price is just under 90.

You can liquidate these several ways including AP.

This sale is going on till this Saturday and the discount is automatic (no rebate, etc) I found this in my local OM weekly sales flyer.

I purchased 2. Tried to use them later and my transactions got declined even if they have $50 balance each. what is going wrong here?

different stores or a manager that didn't care?

Walked up to the register with 10 cards, cashier looked at the printed ad and pointed to the fine print: "Limit one per customer" ("one" in this case apparently meaning one pair). Wife did the same.

$50 cards rang up at $40 each (not $45). But there's a $4.95 activation fee on top of it, so it works out to spend $45.95, get $50.00 worth of GC.

Not bad, but not exactly awesome. As it turns out I drive right by O-Max twice every day. As long as I'm getting 5X UR points via Ink, it's worth me stopping in to pick up a couple pair tomorrow. But I wouldn't go very far out of my way for it.

YMMV.

Can't believe it took this long for this to pop on here. Will go out of control tomorrow when Frequent Miler posts on it. I cleared out my local office max tonight.

There was a thread on slickdeals which actually had 3 thumbs down till I posted that it works great...the way the AD is worded is crap.

Nice find. Off to OM today.

AnitaBryant63 Jan 16, 2013 6:03 am

So it only works when buying 2 cards?

nep301 Jan 16, 2013 6:37 am

Nope. I bought 20 $50 mastercard gift cards in 10 separate transactions yesterday.
