PERPETUAL HAMBURGER
As much as I love our American Cousins and think the world of them (as well as it's great that someone shares info like this on FT), BUT seriously, No wonder that the US have the most number of obese people in the world (30.6% of the population) No offense my dear fellow FT'ers... |

Of course, the only drawback to this is that you are eating a Wendy's hamburger.

http://bodybuilderspro.info/pictures...818/random.gifLook at the back of a Wendy's reciept. "Tell us about your visit...."
Take the survey and get the code. Put the code on your receipt and get a regular burger and another receipt. Put the same code on the second receipt and get another burger. Repeat. Get a new code occasionally. It's a capital letter followed by four digits. Guess you could make one up. I usually buy fries too. ;) |

No need to call for the BK survey, generate a code and write it on the back of your receipt here: http://www.thenorthfaceguru.com/bkcoupon/ Use the saved time on FT instead.
The original chicken sandwich however was :td: :td: I'll stick w/ my whopper next time ;) |
Not all Wendy's!
It does not generate survey questions at all Wendy's. Off of I-40, exit 150, there is a Wendy's that is privately owned. They do not survey!
So you cannot buy there and expect to get another one free later! Hope this is of some help as I am sure there are other privately owned Wendy's who do not participate. Thanks |
Arbys is limited by time and receipt
Arby's here will not give you receipt if all you purchase is the free item. Plus you cannot redeem more than 1 from a given phone # or web address in a certain time span.

The code thing is a bluff, Wendy's employees do not enter it into the system to validate the receipt.

Burger King's code is a bit more sophisticated. They have some sort of way to add up or sequence the digits to know if it is a legitimate code or not.

Correct- jackal can tell more but we both went to BK today for the program and the person taking his order had to be 'educated' on the discount to verify and enter it in the program - so success again!
This leads me to believe they have some sort of book with some mechanism to verify the code sequence. Perhaps the owner of the code-generating website was able to obtain a copy of this book, which would explain how he got the data. I can count on one hand the number of times I've been to BK in the last year. I find Wendy's to be vastly superior in quality. However, BK may have my business as long as this code thing goes on—I foresee many more visits with the use of these codes, and I have a sneaking suspicion (based on testimony from a friend who used to be a manager at McDonald's) they're still making money off of me even with the discounts. The moment they shut it down, I'm back to one of the very few other late-night eating options. |
