The Jr. Deluxe is on their value menu. So you are saving only $1. It's also only 260 calories and has 12 grams of fat. It's a wimpy sandwich.

If you are buying a drink anyway, then why not go for it. It's not worth a special trip to your local Arbys.

Do they still have jamocha shakes?

The Junior Roast Beef is on the $1 menu so now, with the Jr. Deluxe, they are adding a tomato.

It is wimpy but cheper than a regular roast beef sandwich. The regular cost $2.89 but the Jr. is $1. 2 juniors is more than a regular, not to mention 3. Just throw away the bun if you want a thick sandwich.

Calorie-wise, the Jr. is 200 and the regular is 360. So eat 3 juniors and you have 600 vs. 360 for only 11 cents more. Or eat 2 for less.

And even better on the calorie count if you do toss the extra bun(s). I need to think more like this. When it comes to credit cards and miles I do but not when it comes to value menu stuff. Must work on that!

But I love how some can say 12 grams of fat is a wimpy sandwich when it's made of nothing but meat and bread, no fatty sauces. :)

An Arby's Junior Roast Beef sandwich has 1.5 oz. of beef. That's what I heard the supervisor tell the new employee. She said "not 2 oz, 1 and a half". After getting the sandwich, I asked how much was in a regular roast beef sandwich. It is 3 oz.

So my Arby's charges $1 for a sandwich with 1.5 oz (Jr. Roast Beef) and $2.89 for 3 oz. of beef (Regular roast beef sandwich). Sounds like the Junior is a better deal. To make the same sandwich, just take out the meat from one sandwich and put it in the other.

You got it down to a science.
