Brings back pleasant memories of my childhood too! Never much cared for oatmeal but I loves me some CoW! It's one of the reasons I also love the breakfast buffet at the Hyatt Regency OC, they have oatmeal and Cream of Wheat! It's the first time... heck only time I've ever seen it on a buffet.

For those of you who never liked Cream of Wheat, I know why. You did not have a southern grandmother who would drown it in butter and sugar. In my old age, I now use Splenda to get it so sweet that most people could not stand it. Oh, yeah, crumble up a few strips of bacon in it after the butter and sugar. You'll love the stuff.
