$50 Hotels.com coupon, TripIt, and more

http://www.thebigbundle.com

$700 worth of products/coupons/services (including Hotels.com $50 coupon, TripIt Pro, Zagat, TrendMicro, Skype credits, etc) for $30.

I work at the company behind it. We are doing this for charity (not keeping a penny) and it's a really good deal too.

I was able to get a voucher code for FlyerTalk members that can be used up to 50 times and gives 30% off:

Google it for the details; indeed the B&M operation is gone, but the online business was purchased and revived:

They are owned/operated by TigerDirect now.

It's definitely not a scam. This is a good deal and it really does support a great cause.

Thanks,

Alex

Here are a couple articles about TrialPay:

http://venturebeat.com/2008/02/20/tr...-with-a-catch/

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/18/te...in&oref=slogin

Seems legit to me. They are hoping most customers buy more than one product.

If you hear of anything negative about the program please post it here or hit the RBP triangle below.

We are legit and we really aren't hoping for anything except to raise money for a good cause. We spent a lot of time getting these companies to participate.

If it would help prove that this is legit, I'll give $20 off coupons (so you get the whole thing for $10) to the first 5 people who PM me and agree to speak their mind after they buy. Of course, you don't have to use the coupon -- if you do, it means less money for the American Cancer Society.

Rampguy: You have PM.

I bit on the offer.

I concur that it is legit, and its a good value for the money. Best of all it supports a VERY worthwhile charity: The American Cancer Society. As to how much of the money goes to the ACS, is not listed on the site, but the OP states that it's all of the money.

When you sign up for this offer, you are given a personalized page with all of the offers listed on it.

The only downside is that some of the store coupons must be used via the link provided with the sign-up [and thus not elidible for using shopping portals], but not all of the store coupon are required to use the link on the site.

The free software includes a PDF creator--- something I have always wanted [not from Adobe but another software company], along with the other offers.

If for some reason I see any reoccurring charges on my credit card that I used for this offer, I'll be sure to post that info in this thread. [hopefully I won't need to :) ]

I signed up for this the other day. Have had no issues with any of the codes not working (I had been a bit leery about the whole thing initially...) Although probably I won't use most of what I've 'purchased', I more than broke even and it is for a good cause. :)

You never used CutePDF? I love that thing, and it's free.

Roboform Pro itself is worth the cost. But really, great cause!

lhs323 Oct 12, 2009 10:47 am

I take back that it was a scam. Just beware that ordering through mypoints.com gets you less of the offers and makes it less of a good deal, although you do get 75 mypoints points (but that's worth a lot less than the offers which are no longer there when ordering through mypoints).
Also, by Shutterfly, I meant Snapfish. Sorry for confusing the 2 photography services.

This is a great cause!!!!

rampguy Oct 12, 2009 11:35 am

This is not a scam, Shutterfly is not one of the items in the bundle anyway. MyPoints is also promoting this bundle but with a somewhat different makeup of products. Since you bought from MyPoints, you got that bundle, and you also got MyPoints points.

As everyone can see from the earlier posts, this is legitimate and everything is going to a good cause.

Actually, I HAVE been scammed.
I made an order today, and Gap, Shutterfly, Lancome, and 1800Flowers were all MISSING from my order, and these were 4 of the 5 offers that I intended on using (along with Skype.com). If I do not receive a reply from the company within 2 days, I am going to protest the charge on my card and warn people of this scam.

They even have a quote from the 1800flowers marketing director on their main page about 1800flowers participation, but alas I have been denied the gift card in my order.

They said nothing about the above merchants' offers being limited in quantity (in contrast to the limited Papa John's offer), so I have been scammed.

If the OP would like to PM me privately, I would appreciate it.

icurhere2 Oct 12, 2009 6:13 pm

I purchased through restaurant.com in the first 1,000 - already have used the Papa John's gift code and needed antivirus software for the netbook (Trend Micro) ...
