Well... wasnt the dammage already done. You are not telling me that RyanAir had to pay for the many terminal and airport improvements and local investments they required to even start flying to these destinations in the first place. No, that was bourne by the tax payers in each region. These local authorities are maybe in the long run working to benefit their regions, but there is only one short-term winner and that is RyanAir.

(well... and maybe those passengers who take advantage of RyanAirs great negotiating skills to get low fares and are willing to spend hours on ground transportation.)

I have not followed the 2 scandals involving RyanAir in Sweden this past year and have only noticed them in the media.

Do you guys know if the pax needs to re-confirm 24-72 hours before flight?

There should be no reason for you to re-confirm your booking with FR. If you booked it a long time ago, you can always check ryanair.com to see if the schedule has changed - if it has they will normally have contacted you though, providing you gave accurate contact information when booking.
