Problem with payment

Hello. I was flying from Ryanair and bought food on the plane. I paid by card. The payment went through. But since immediately after landing I had to continue my bus trip for 20 hours and had little time to change planes, I did not check in the bank's app whether the funds had been withdrawn I continued to pay for my purchases with this card. The next day I received a notification that the payment was declined. I checked the card and found that a few cents were missing from the full amount that was supposed to be charged for the meal on the plane. I immediately replenished my card and now there are enough funds, but there was no second attempt to withdraw this money. And I don't know what to do now. I don't want to have any debt to the airline.Maybe someone had a similar situation or knows what to do?

Welcome to FT!

Relax! You don't need to do anything and nothing will happen. Ryanair may try to complete the charge later/the amount will be deducted from your account, but most likely they will not even try it for such low amount. You got a free lunch; nothing more will happen.

One of two things will happen
  1. they will try again to collect the funds in a few days
  2. they won't collect the funds, and the next time you try to check in for a Ruinair flight you will be met with a screen saying you have an "outstanding balance to pay" and you will pay it online at that point.

Similar case, other company. I booked a car via Hertz in Miami, as it is the road tolls are collected much later once Hertz receives the plate pass charge, but by then my credit card had been cancelled due to fraudulent activities on it, so Hertz could not charge me. I had all forgotten about that, until next time I rented from Hertz in Miami some months later, I was only reminded when I wondered how I could have raked up that many tolls in that short a trip, and then it dawned on me why.

OP, if you have an account and made the booking associated with that account, Ryanair is unlikely to forget. But not like they are going to hound you for it, they'll just charge you when you get the chance.
