Minimum amount for meal in case of delay?
 

My Ryanair flight was delayed by 3 hours, so we received a meal voucher for 4 euros (four!!!), and this flight was leaving at 12:40 PM, so sometime around lunchtime. Whenever I had meal vouchers for delayed flights they wear for around €15, what the hell can you buy for 4 euros at an airport?! So of course I had to add more money to buy an actual meal. In the SMS Ryanair sent Dave mentioned this money was for a "snack", so obviously in their opinion it was not meant for a complete meal.

I could not find anywhere in the EU regulation if there is a minimum amount for a meal or if there is any rule in relation to flight time which determines the difference between reimbursing for a snack or for a meal. I guess this question applies to any airline.

EC261 requires airlines to provide meals and refreshments commensurate to the time of day and length of delay. The voucher was clearly insufficient, in such circumstances purchase meals and (nonalcoholic) drinks, obtain receipt and seek reimbursement from the offending airline.
