Ryanair checked baggage charges going Up!

Michael O'Leary says the company is saving a "fortune" with fewer people checking bags. Now he wants passengers to check even less luggage: hold baggage charges have gone up again! O'Leary wants to see the number of passengers who check bags down to 20% of the total of flying customers.

I thought I read somewhere before that it's already down to 19% and the article uses the same figure.

I thought he wants to bring it down form 20% to 10%.

Just used them for the first time for 1 leg from Greece. £45 charge for a suitcase. At baggage reclaim, at least 3 quarters of the passengers had bags, and not surprising that this is a beach holiday destination.

I think O'leary doesn't want checked in bags because they hold up the plane when it arrives late from it's origin!! :D
