Ryanair non-EU boarding pass stamp
Hi there
I am travelling MAN-DUB-MAN in a couple of weeks with Mrs SCB. She does not have an EU passport so will need to get the 'stamp'. My question is that since we are only staying one night and our return journey is he following day, would the staff at MAN be willing to stamp both her outward and return boarding passes at the same time? FYI - her citizenship does NOT require her to have any form of tourist visa for the Republic of Ireland. She has UK residency but this shouldn't really be an issue as coming back to the UK from Ireland there is no immigration anyway. Does anyone have any experience of this? Thanks for your input! SCB |
You are returning on the next day. Hence, I see two problems: The stamp has that day's date on it, and it has the airport's name on it.
You could always ask, but I doubt you'll have much luck. |
Not possible. You have to get the boarding card stamped prior to each flight.

Thank you very much for your help.
Because I have never seen a stamp I wasn't sure what the format would be (dates/airport names etc) hence why I asked. But now I know - I guess we'll just have to be at DUB nice and early on the morning of the flight. A further question - does anyone have experience of what the stamp queues are generally like at DUB? I'm not so concerned about MAN as there's only one FR destination nowadays out of there (DUB!) but DUB being FR's hub and us travelling early morning - do you have any idea of how long we should leave to get the stamp done before going through security and onto the aircraft? Thanks again! |
This might help....No line at all 6 pm on a Monday; 1 person in "line" on a Wednesday 11 am. Also there are usually only about 2 or 3 non-EU persons flying in each aircraft, which need the stamp. But I recall the counter was also used for re-booking flights and as information center for all flights. Just plan accordingly and arrive, as suggested on Ryanair's WEB page 2 hours prior at the airport and you shouldn't have a problem.

I just flew Charlaori to Krakow and back with a US passport. In Belgum there was one person ahead of me in Poland there wasn't a line at the bag drop/visa check desk.
Since most pax are EU and checked bags are expensive there isn't a huge depand for assistance from the counter. I don't remember if there is a date on the stamp, however each airport had their airport code/logo on the stamp. I wasn't doing a 24hr turn, but I asked in Belgum if they would stamp my return BP, I was told I would have to have it done at the return airport. |
Stamping only done on day of flight
Just got back from the trip in question - we tried to get the BP stamped yesterday for a flight this morning but - similar to climbguy - there was nothing doing. You have to get it done on the day of the flight, it would seem.
