Early morning Moscow train arrival

I'm arriving Moscow from Kazan around 0615 Monday morning. My hostel is about 3km from the station and on the metro but I have a heavy bag. Would you guys try the metro and if not what's a reasonable taxi option for a non Russian speaker? The hostel is quoting me RUB 1200 for a pickup which seems absurd.
Cheers

The metro will not be crowded at this time of day, so it's a decent option if you don't mind carrying your bag all along.
The quoted taxi fare is obviously insane. A normal taxi service will charge 350-500 rubles for such a trip if you order the taxi in advance. I'm afraid I can't recommend an English-speaking service, but probably someone will help us here.
Not sure if there are "official" taxi stands on the railway stations (like in the airports), but if there are - the price will be somewhere in between.

I ended up using Uber and it was RUB 510 for my ride. Driver didn't speak much english but got me where I needed to go. Thanks!
